Johnnie’s recovery journey has been shaped by his faith. Turning to prayer and leaning on his relationship with God has helped him feel supported and grounded 🙏🏾. Because of this, throughout his recovery journey, Johnnie has built strong and meaningful connections with people in his North Carolina community, especially with his son. "It's because of my past that I can connect with so many people," Johnnie says, "and I'm able to help people that are struggling."
