Unshame North Carolina centers the experiences and insights of North Carolinians impacted by substance use disorder (SUD) through collaboration with our Community Impact Committee, Coalition Members, initiative champions, social influencers, and many more. These community members bring their advocacy, expertise, and commitment to treating people in our community with respect and understanding.

Community Impact Committee (CIC)

The Community Impact Committee (CIC) is a passionate team of community members that share ideas and advice with the Unshame North Carolina campaign. Because of their own experiences and connections to their communities, the CIC makes sure that the voices of those most affected by substance use disorder (SUD) are heard and represented.
